First Platoon - A Company

Here's my platoon in December 1967, pictured in front of the huts we built and the adjacent outhouses. Many of us remember these as some of the best days of our lives. The gentleman in the left rear, nicknamed "Tree," stood at least 6-foot-4. We joked, "Nobody would shoot you; they'd mistake you for a tree."   1. Just found this blog. Can anybody name that good looking guy in the center row, 4th from the right? He's also one of the four in the 'pact between friends' photo. PS.....welcome home, Eng.

  2. I can name the 5 of us in the picture that went to special forces I still stay in touch with them and I have a bunch of pictures of our time at camp Crockett on the back side of fort Gordon ga where we all were got a dose of agent orange Bill Grist concord nc
