Water was always cold, and while you were cleaner after the shower than before, you traded the smell of a dirty soldier for the smell of a dead bass. Many guys refused to use it and just did a sponge bath once in a while. Once a week was about the limit for the ones who did use it. The Pond is still visible as are the foundations of the quansot huts if you look at Google earth.
